Non-urgent advice: You and Your General Practice
Guidelines were issued by NHS England on the 19th August to practices on updating their website to make information available to patients on You and Your General Practice (YYGP).
These guidelines are designed to support practices through the implementation of You and Your General Practice (YYGP), which was introduced and agreed as part of the 2025/26 GP contract.
The information must be available on practice websites by 1st October 2025.

- book, check or cancel appointments with a GP, nurse or other healthcare professional
- order repeat prescriptions
- see parts of your health record, including information about medicines, vaccinations and test results
- see communications between your GP surgery and other services, such as hospitals
